Self-exploration is a continuing journey that involves gathering information about your interests, abilities, skills, values, and career adaptability. On the National Career Advice Portal (NCAP) there are assessments that can assist you in the process of developing who you are and what attributes you need to consider when making a career decision.

The NCAP Interests questionnaire

This questonnaire focuses on the activities that a client is drawn to with the aim of aligning them to relevant study fields. The results will indicate the study fields in which a client is highly interested.

Upon completion of the questionnaire, you will:

• Obtain a report that will indicate the different study fields that are aligned to the interests you have.
• Understand how to utilise and where best to apply your interests in choosing a career.

The NCAP Career Abilities questionnaire

This questionnaire presents a series of statements related to the abilities you are possess in relation to study fields. The results will indicate the study fields in which you show the most capability or potential.

Upon completion of the questionnaire, you will:

• Obtain a report that will indicate the different study fields related to the abilities that you have.
• Understand how and where to utilise your abilities.

The NCAP Employability Skills questionnaire

This questionnaire presents a series of statements related to the skills that you may possess in relation to study fields. The results will indicate the study fields in which you are skilled in.

Upon completion of the questionnaire, you will:

• Obtain a report that will indicate the different study fields your skills can be well applied in.
• Understand how to utilise your skills in terms of careers.
• Understand where best to use those skills or which careers make the best use of your skills.

The NCAP Values questionnaire

This questionnaire presents a series of statements related to the attributes that may be of importance to you in your career.

The results will indicate the working environments that are best suited for accommodating your values.

Upon completion of the questionnaire, you will:

• Obtain a report that will indicate the working environments that are best suited for you based on the values you have.
• Understand how to utilise and where best to use your values when choosing a career.

The NCAP Career Resilience adaptability questionnaire

This questionnaire makes you aware of whether you have developed relevant skills that are regarded as important skills needed for survival in the job market.

The results will indicate the study fields in which you are skilled in.

Upon completion of the questionnaire, you will:

• Discover your level of career adaptability.
• Discover which study or career field you are most adaptable in and
• Understand how to utilise your level adaptability.
